Week 9: “Not Tomorrow” - Akira Yamaoka
This is from Silent Hill, composed by Akira Yamaoka. I learned this by ear quite some time ago, so this is actually from memory as well. I’m working on a few other covers right now.
Week 8: A Failed Attempt!
Yeah, I started improvising this but about halfway (of what’s there) I didn’t like the direction it was going in and just sort of started playing completely randomly… Anyway I didn’t feel much like starting over, so this is just what I have. I might rework this melody into something else later. At least I’m caught up on my weeks now!
Sometimes it’s strange how a name that was once so incredibly familiar becomes something of a language from a different world.
